An Editor’s Perspective

In a broad sense, I think a few responsibilities of an editor are to sift through information, weed out the unnecessary, and get at the heart of things.

We live in a big, noisy world, and we have to decide what we should be paying attention to. And I think the best editors that I’ve come across are not only the ones who shape our writing, but who also help us see what’s worth reading and paying attention to.

So I hope to write some things on this blog that are important to me and that may be of interest to you. It will be a place where I can play around with my writing, share some discoveries, and hopefully start some dialogue with you as well.
